This lesson teaches first responders how to manage a hazardous materials incident. All crews within the Los Angeles Area must be prepared to fulfill the duties of a first-arriving company at a Hazmat incident. In addition, all crews should be prepared to assist with a large-scale Hazmat response in the event of a major CBRNE incident.
