This training introduces the fundamentals of marine firefighting for land-based firefighters in the Los Angeles Area. In the event of a large incident, natural or man-made, firefighters from across the region may be called upon to assist within the marine environment. This training will provide the basic knowledge of what to expect, how to support an incident, and how to avoid hazards that are unique to the marine domain.
