Crenshaw Line – Train vs. Vehicle

You will see effective communications between MTA and emergency dispatch, coordination between MTA and law enforcement to isolate the area and perform initial assessments, and then a fully unified command post with Metro, law enforcement, and fire/EMS to mitigate the incident and provide emergency medical care.

Expo Line – Train on Fire

In this video, watch first responders drill on a train fire. The train operator notifies the Rail Operations Center of a fire in one of the train cars. The ROC gathers information and dispatches firefighters, as well as Metro responders to the location. A unified command post is formed, and responders work to evacuate passengers and put out the fire.
